The Foxborough Economic Development Committee’s mission is to develop and implement a strategic business attraction, retention and marketing program for the Town, implement the Master Plan’s economic development strategy and enhance the business climate in the Town by partnering with local, regional and state entities.

Mission Statement

The Foxborough Economic Committee will work to enhance the quality of life and prosperity for its citizens, meet the needs of the community, both socially and financially, and help the Town realize its desired economic future.

Vision Statement

The Foxborough Economic Development Committee (EDC) shall be made up of up to 10 voting members, appointed by the Board of Selectman, each serving a term of 3 years, commencing in May. The committee will have one each non-voting ex-officio member from the Planning Board, Board of Selectmen, and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Town employees may also be invited to participate as non-voting ex-officio members on an ad-hoc basis. The committee will elect a Chair, Vice Chair and Clerk. The Board may re-organize annually in May. The clerk or a designated town employee shall take all minutes and publish same in accordance with public records law.
